10 STARS! They saved our little girls life. Princess is a very tiny miniature horse, only measuring 25" and 85 lbs. She came in for colic and nearly died. They gave her around the clock care and were able to avoid surgery. Five days later, our little girl is home, healthy and happy! The doctors and staff were amazing, extremely intelligent, compassionate and professional. Highly recommended!!
Spectacular equine care! A well-rounded place with a much appreciated open door policy & EXCELLENT customer service. There is nothing worse than being locked out of a clinic when your horse is in surgery or being made to feel that your presence is a bother. The Mid-Atlantic staff were thoughtful, kind & respectful. Truly grateful for your all-around care & consideration!!
I can't say enough about the staff at Mid-Atlantic but a few adjectives that immediately come to mind are highly skilled, competent, caring, diligent, empathetic, supportive, intelligent, unflappable, friendly, helpful, persistent, attentive, experienced, thorough and always available. In addition, their facility is a beautiful state-of-the-art campus that is welcoming to humans and equines alike. Drs. Patty Doyle and Janik Gasiorowski are WONDERFUL surgeons who approach every problem with a calm, methodical competence that comes from extensive experience and incredible skill. They are kind and empathetic and always welcome owner input. All of their support staff is highly capable and great to work with. My horse has come back from numerous injuries only through the intervention of Mid-Atlantic's awe-inspiring team. I highly recommend Mid-Atlantic.
A huge thank you and recommendation for Dr. Mary Durando, what was very informative, on point and readily available with advice on trying to save our horse with heart failure. From former visits at the clinic, I can also say that the place is well maintained with a friendly staff!
I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Gasiorowski and staff. Last week we had to bring our boy Bowie there for severe colic. Unfortunately, the outcome was the worst. The one shining light of the evening was the way Bowie and all of us were treated. The two young women who treated him when we got there were so awesome with him. They, along with Dr. Gasiorowski, could not have been more comforting and compassionate when we had to make the horrible decision to euthanize Bowie. We cannot thank them enough - this happened so suddenly and was so devastating it was hard to think straight and everyone there made it much more bearable. I highly recommend Mid-Atlantic Equine.
Two times Dr Doyle saved my big guy! I cannot thank you and all the staff enough for everything you have done for Cydney. I received updates 2x per day and that was after I had spent the days there. They were extremely busy the week that he had colic so they worked together monitoring all the colic cases by popping in and out of the exam rooms. Often times needing to provide pain medicine or checking vitals. A hard working team that cared very much for each patient. Thank you so much!!!
My horse was diagnosed with severe Gastric & Colonic ulcers that were causing him many health issues. 6 months later & following Dr. Belgrave's recommendations for treatment, he is a completely different horse now. So thankful to have my horse back again. Fingers always crossed he continues doing well!
Great staff, Great vets! Very pleased with the professionalism and care everyone offered to us from the moment we walked in the door. Will be using them again in future if needed.
